Congratulations to Lionel Messi for completing his hat-trick of Ballon d'Or titles last night at a FIFA ceremony in Zurich!

The 24-year-old became only the fourth player in history to win the FIFA World Player of the Year award three times, joining footballing legends Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten, and Michael Platini.

PUMA announced today it has signed a long-term partnership with Côte d'Ivoire and Manchester City midfielder Yaya Touré. SERGIO'KUN'AGUERO SIGNS FOR PUMA

PUMA announced today it has signed a long-term contract with Sergio Aguero. The Argentinean international will wear PUMA's speed line of boots over a long-term period, commencing with the v1.11 boots in the lead green colourway in Manchester City FC's first UEFA Champions League game against Italian side SSC Napoli tomorrow.

Manchester City's record signing will be a central figure in PUMA's global marketing programmes in the coming years, and a key asset in the Sportlifestyle brand.

Fabregas will lead the global launch of the new PUMA PowerCat 1.12, debuting the boot for the first time on-pitch this weekend when FC Barcelona play Sporting Gijon in La Liga.
