Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipments (WEEE) Directive is now UK Law. The Legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. These types of products contain hazardous substances which can have a negative effect on the environment and human health if these products are not treated and recycled in accordance with the WEEE regulations. Therefore to assist all our customers with the safe disposal of this type of equipment we are pleased to offer a free in-store take back service. We will, at the time or up to 28 days after the sale of a new electronic or electrical item, happily take back the old electronic or electrical item, providing that it is the same or fulfils a similar function to the item being replaced.
If you have questions or queries, please ask our store manager for assistance.
